Hello, I’m Mr. Jensen – An Independent Educational Consultant
As a first-generation college student, I know what it’s like to be the first in a family to go to college. No one had any idea in my family what to do. Because of that, I made many mistakes in the college process.
Mistake #1: I only applied to one school.
Mistake #2: I thought every school wanted the same thing – good test scores and good grades.
Mistake #3: Not realizing being an “A” student while playing sports and being in the band is a positive.
Despite my mistakes, I still graduated from the college to which I applied.
I couldn’t help but wonder if there was a better way for families. Do families need to manage the anxiety on their own? There has to be a better way!
